Fat-targeting workout routines created by your favorite supermodel are ineffective and overall just false. Scientifically, you cannot spot reduce fat. Doctors have shown time and time again that the only way to lower a person’s body fat percentage is by staying in a caloric deficit. So no, one hundred reps of crunches will not build your six pack. Social media remains a platform that pushes false narratives that can be extremely harmful to women’s body images and self-confidence. At AlignHer, we believe in cutting the BS.
